Switzerland

In Switzerland there are the Alps, lots of happy cows with bells and green fields.

Gimmelwald

This is a little town on a high hill. This is also where my mom and dad met. There is a hostel, pension, hotel, a few houses, farms, and a small shop.

It is usually very cold up there and there are mountains surrounding us.

The goats, sheep and cows all have bells around their necks.

We saw a cow trying to have a baby and we watched for about 1 hour but then we had to eat. When we came back a little later, there was a 10-minute-old calf! He was scraggily, and shivering but very cute. All the cows are very happy because the farmers have to walk their cows, and be nice to them. That is also why all the cows are very friendly too.

I love Switzerland very much and hope to come back to it someday.
